The next day, News Corp said that Moore’s company, Brownstone Inc., was no longer eligible for the sale of the stock, which is expected to close in about six weeks. Moore, who also owns a pizza chain, said he would sell News Corp’s stock, but would also retain ownership of his company. Moore wrote an open letter to Fox’s board, detailing his concerns with the company. Moore’s article went viral and sparked a conversation on social media. Moore said he wanted to take ownership of the company so that he could make the best use of it for its growth. Moore said he was going to leave News Corp, a unit of News Corp-owner 21st Century Fox, after the merger. In it, Moore discussed how his grandfather, who served in the US Army, was the first to make a brick mixer and that his grandfather’s family owned a grocery store, but that he didn’t own any of the business at the time. They have featured drinks every week, but luckily for us, we were still able to get some really colorful, delicious and amazingly creative shakes that the girls loved! This week, the featured drink was the Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Shake (It’s the featured picture to this article).A few weeks ago, we wrote about an article by Stephen Moore, a retired US Army officer and the author of The Big Book of American Military History. Oh, and if you happen to stalk their Instagram account like I do, keep in mind that all the amazing shakes you see may not be available when you visit. No matter what age your children are, boy or girl, they are guaranteed to be satisfied! This is one of my top 5 family restaurants. Wait time was non-existent, staff was super friendly, clean venue, nice crowd, valet parking (free), great food, and literally seconds away from my favorite spa! Where could you go wrong? Although the décor doesn’t scream “ Oh the kids will love this!”, you definitely don’t want to go there without them. The most expensive Shake on our table was $18). It was like they hit the jackpot 😋😍 ( Note: we spent a little over $80.

I wasn’t brave enough to handle one of those milkshakes ( but that's not to say I didn't eat some of theirs😂. Seriously, everything they serve is 'Instagram-able' and, from what I've experienced, delicious as well. Brownstone is known for its creativity when it comes to milkshakes and breakfast dishes (and anything else they make). So, we decided to take them for the milkshakes I've been promising them for weeks. Today was one of the rare Saturday's Jamil and I both got to spend time with girls together as a family. But anyways, I'm glad we took our chances because we had a great time. Given the current Corona virus scare, I'm sure a lot of people are skeptical about eating out right now. Or maybe I shouldn't have been surprised at all. Go There!īeing that it was a Saturday evening, I was expecting the restaurant to be crowded but to my surprise, it wasn't in the least bit. So here it is, the infamous Brownstone Pancake Factory! Long story short.
